What is a children's picture book series?
A series of children's picture books is a series of picture books created by the same author or publisher with the same protagonist, style and theme, such as the familiar "Peppa Pig Series" and "David Can't Series".
So how do you use ReadKidz to create your own series of children's picture books? First, you need to identify the main character and then plan the story outline for each book, which will make subsequent creation smoother.
Step 1: Enter the creation page and create a new project
We can enter the series of children's picture book creation pages in two ways!
Method 1:
① On the ReadKidz homepage, click AI Generate in the AI E-BOOKS section under HOME!
② Select Series Book!
③ Enter the series name editing page, enter the series name you want to create, for example: "The Kitten Also Wants to Be a Detective", click create to enter the creation page!
Method 2:
We can click AI Generate under AI E-books in the left navigation bar of the ReadKidz homepage! The subsequent steps are the same as method 1!
Step 2: Story Generation
① Set the parameters of your picture book. According to the story outline, set the audience age, picture book type, picture book style and picture book size! (Please note: the audience age and picture book size of subsequent picture books in the series should be unified!)
② Enter the story theme according to the story outline and click AI Generate to generate the story!
Step 3: Story Review
① Check whether the story is logical and contains the content you want!
② You can modify the original text directly, or you can click the arrow to slide up to the story generation page and click Generate to regenerate!
Step 4: Refine the character
① After confirming that the story is correct, click "Extract Roles" to extract the characters!
② There will be a pop-up window for the first use. The pop-up window will display the basic information of the character. The character information with problems will be displayed as "???". You can click "confirm" to exit the pop-up window directly and modify it in the corresponding place in the character information list! If you do not need to display the pop-up window later, you can check "Do not show again" and then click "confirm"
③ After confirming the role, click "confirm role" to confirm the role. A confirmation pop-up window will appear. You can review it carefully again. After confirming it is correct, click "Next"
Step 5: Style Selection
ReadKidz platform currently supports 100+ styles. Select the style you like and click "Next" to proceed to the next step!
Step 6: Character Portrait
After confirming the style, we need to create the character portrait!
① Click the small pencil on the right side of the character to enter the character information editing page!
② You can modify the description directly. If you add a new description, please be sure to click the Enter key and add it within the specified number of characters, otherwise it will not take effect! After the modification is completed, please remember to click "confirm" to save!
③ After saving, click "Generate" in the lower left corner to generate the image! The back is the "AI image" image generation page, and the next is to generate the image history library!
④ AI image will generate four pictures at a time. Choose the one that best matches the character description!
⑤ If you are not satisfied with the character portrait generated by the selected style, you can click on the style selection page and reselect the style! After confirming the style, please make sure that the character portraits of all characters are of the same style! And make sure that each character has a character portrait before you can proceed to the next step! (Please note that after clicking to proceed to the next step, you cannot regenerate the character portrait!)
Please note that you must ensure that each character has a single character portrait, otherwise you will not be able to proceed to the next step!
Step 7: Subtitle Editing
① If you are not satisfied with the subtitles, you can edit them directly!
② To add new subtitles, hover your mouse between the subtitles and click the “+” icon that appears!
③ There is a delete icon at the end of each subtitle. Click on the subtitle you don’t need to delete it! You cannot undo it after deleting it!
After subtitle editing is completed, click Next!
Step 8: Shot Page
① Click the small pencil in the upper right corner of the canvas to enter the prompt word editing page!
② Check whether the prompt words correspond to the subtitles. If not, you can edit them directly!
③ Light up the character portrait in the upper left corner according to the prompt words! Please note: In order to ensure the amount of drawing paper, the order of the two-player scene prompt words needs to be written in the order of the character portraits!
④ After confirming that everything is correct, click Generate to generate the illustration!
⑤ Of course, we can also go back to the homepage of the pagination page and generate multiple pictures at the same time!
⑥ AI image will generate four pictures at a time. Choose the one that best matches the prompt word!
⑦ If you don't know how to modify the prompt words for the two-player scene, you can click the small question mark in the lower right corner of the two-player scene canvas to get help! Or when you have generated a two-player scene three times, you can choose whether to let the system change to a single-player scene as needed!
⑧ If you want to delete a page, you can click the three dots in the upper left corner of the canvas and click the hide icon to hide it. Of course, you can click SHOW to display it again!
Once all subtitles are generated and a single image is confirmed, you can proceed to the next step!
Step 9: Image Editing
The ReadKidz platform supports basic image editing functions, and can directly design the layout of picture books!
① Click the picture. Click the green dot on the green border of the picture and press and hold to operate the position and size of the picture. Right-click the picture and perform corresponding operations according to the corresponding options!
②If you think the layout of the picture is not creative enough, you can use the cropping tool in the editor! The cropping tool contains different masks. You can select different shapes of cropping masks to adjust the shape of the illustration according to your needs to make your picture book more creative!
b. The cropping area can be rotated, and adjusting the rotation angle can change the cropping shape! (Please note: When the cropping is completed, please remember to click "confirm", otherwise the cropping will be invalid!)
c. After cropping, adjust the position of the cropped image to make the picture more harmonious!
④ If you need to add a new canvas, you can click "+ Add pages" below the canvas. The new canvas will only be added under the specified canvas, so be sure to pay attention! (Please note: Whether it is a new canvas or the initial canvas, it cannot be deleted, it can only be hidden!)
⑤ On the newly added blank page, you can select the "Generate" icon to enter the AI drawing page to write prompt words and generate pictures! You can also click "Upload" to upload pictures yourself. Of course, you can also click the picture upload icon in the toolbar on the right to upload pictures!
Step 10: Subtitle Editing
① Click the subtitle. Click the green dot on the green border of the subtitle and long press to adjust the position and size of the subtitle. Right-click the subtitle and perform corresponding operations according to the corresponding options!
② After clicking the subtitle, a toolbar for font effect settings will appear on the upper side, and you can set the font effect according to your ideas!
③ If you want your story dialogue to be more interactive, you can click the Add Subtitles icon in the right toolbar and select the appropriate font style to add it!
④ In order to ensure the consistency and viewing experience of the picture book, please remember to unify the font effects of the subtitles on the screen. Right-click the subtitle and select "Copy Style" to unify the font effects of all subtitles except the cover and end!
Step 11: Stickers Library
① ReadKidz supports a variety of styles of stickers, bubble frames and other diversified material libraries. Click the material library icon in the right toolbar to enter the material library and select materials that match the style of the picture book to make the picture more interesting!
② In order to highlight the subtitles in the picture book story, you can find the bubble frame in the material library, select the appropriate bubble, and put the subtitles on the top layer to make the picture more harmonious!
Step 12: Dubbing Library
① After the layout design of the picture book is completed, we can dub each subtitle. Click the dubbing icon on the right toolbar to enter!
② Click on “change all voice actors” in the upper right corner to enter the “voice library” to audition and select the dubbing roles!
③ You can uncheck the subtitles and click change voice actor to directly enter the dubbing role list. Confirm the dubbing role and you can unify all subtitles to use that role!
④You can also check the subtitles, enter the dubbing list, and dub the subtitles separately!
⑤ New subtitles can also be dubbed, and you can drag the order of the subtitles in the dubbing list to adjust the reading order of the subtitles on that page!
Step 13: Background Music Library
① After dubbing is completed, you can click on the background music library on the right!
② Choose appropriate background music according to the story content of the picture book. You can listen to it by pressing the play button and add background music by pressing “+”!
Step 14: Background Wall
After adding background music, you can click the background wall library in the right toolbar and select a background picture that matches the style of the picture book, which can make the picture book preview more vivid and interesting!
Step 15: Save and download
Finally, save the picture and click Preview to preview the overall effect of the picture book, and make adjustments based on any unsatisfactory aspects!
Step 16: Create a new series sequel
Please note: If the steps of the first picture book do not reach the storyboard page, you will not be able to create the second picture book!
1.Return to the ReadKidz homepage, find My Creations in the left navigation bar, select “series Books”, and click on the picture book you created before!
2. Select Create a New Book!
3. For the story content of the sequel picture book, you can choose to continue AI generation, or you can choose to edit the story yourself!
4. If you choose AI to generate a story, you can check the characters you need for the sequel picture book, and then choose whether to continue the story based on the first picture book or rewrite a new story based on the characters you checked! (Please note: when rewriting a story, the protagonist of the story is the character you have determined)
① Set the parameters for the sequel picture book, reselect the characters, and finally enter the story theme!
② After the story is generated, you can edit it directly, or click the arrow to slide up and regenerate it!
③ After refining the characters, if there are characters in the story that you have not checked but already exist, you can click on the character information library in the character information list to synchronize the characters!
④ After confirming the character, please scroll up to "Step 5: Style Selection" to start the subsequent content!
5. If you choose your own story, you can paste your edited story directly on the original story page. After analyzing the characters, please scroll up to "Step 5: Style Selection" to start!
