How to create a picture book for language learning and enlightenment education for 3-5 year olds

Welcome to ReadKidz!

Among the newly upgraded functions of the ReadKidz platform! A special section for picture books for children aged 3-5 is launched, with four carefully designed age groups: 3~3+ years old enlightenment period, 3+~4 years old exploration period, 4~4+ years old growth period and 4+~5 years old improvement period. Each stage is matched with exclusive content, allowing children to acquire the most appropriate knowledge at the most suitable time and enjoy happy growth!

So how do you use the 3-5 years old template to create a picture book for language learning and enlightenment education for this age group?

Step 1: Create a new project

Depending on the age of the children for whom we want to create picture book stories, we can enter the creation portal in the following ways!

Go to the ReadKidz homepage and click on the age card under "Choosing Picture Books by Age" on the right!

Step 2: Subject selection

On the subject selection page, choose the subject according to your own ideas!

① The themes are divided into five categories: Adventure, Fairy Tales, Family, Stories, Activities, and Education! Each category has a sub-category corresponding to the theme!

②After determining the subject matter, we also need to choose the protagonist category and story style!

Step 3: Set size and review subtitles

① Set the size of the picture book according to your own ideas. The sizes are divided into 16:9, 1:1, and 3:4! (Please note: the size of the picture book must be determined in this step and cannot be changed later!)

② Review the subtitles to see if they are the story content you want. You can edit them yourself! The key words marked are the words suitable for learning for this age group! You can delete the "[]" symbol to cancel the mark, or add "[]" to the word you want to mark to mark it!

Step 4: Refine the character

After confirming the subtitles, we need to refine the characters! (Please note: Please make sure not to modify any subtitles before refining the characters, otherwise your modifications will not take effect on the storyboard page!)

① Click “Extract Roles” to extract roles!!

② After extracting the roles, check whether there are any missing or wrong roles in the role list! If so, click "Extract Roles" to extract again, or click "Recovery" in the role list to regenerate the role information!

③ After confirming that the role is correct, click "Confirm Role" to proceed to the next step!

Step 5: Style Selection

After confirming the character, we need to choose a style. The platform currently contains more than 100 styles, which are divided into two categories: classic reissue and official. Select the style you want and proceed to the next step!

Step 6: Character Portrait

After confirming the style, we need to create the character portrait!

① Check the character list to see if there are any missing characters!

② Click the small pencil on the right side of the character to enter the character information editing page!

③ On the character information editing page, there will be corresponding character information according to the character type. Please edit the character information according to the following format! (Please note: If the animal character information editing page shows clothing, please be sure to delete all clothing information!)

Human:

a. Character skin color (required)

b. Character hairstyle (required)

c. Character facial features (required)

d. Character accessories (optional)

e. Character clothing (required for human characters, optional for animal characters)

Animal:

a. Character skin color (required)

b. Character facial features (required)

④ You can modify the description directly. If you add a new description, please be sure to click the "Enter key" and add it within the specified number of characters, otherwise it will not take effect! After the modification is completed, please remember to click "confirm" to save!

⑤ If you are not satisfied with the character portrait generated by the selected style, you can click on the style selection page and reselect the style! After confirming the style, please make sure that the character portraits of all characters are of the same style! And make sure that each character has a character portrait before you can proceed to the next step! (Please note that after clicking to proceed to the next step, you cannot regenerate the character portrait!)

⑥ 4 pictures will be generated at the same time. Select the one that best matches the prompt word! Click "Confirm" after selecting! (Note: After the picture generation is completed, the first picture will be selected by default. If the user wants to change the picture, be sure to click "Confirm" on the selected picture)

Please note that you must make sure that each character has a single character portrait, otherwise you will not be able to proceed to the next step!

Step 7: PPT page

① Check whether the number of slide pages on the left reaches the specified number of subtitles!

② Review the characters that appear in the subtitles to see if they have corresponding character portraits!

③ Click "AI images" in the upper left corner of the subtitle on the canvas page to enter the prompt word editing page!

Check whether the content of the prompt words corresponds to the story subtitles, and whether the number of characters described in the prompt words corresponds to the character portraits!

④ Click “My Prompt” to write your own prompts!

⑤ After the review is completed, click "Generate" to generate the picture. If you are not satisfied with the original picture, you can click "Generate" to regenerate it, or enter the prompt word editing page to adjust the drawing prompt word! (Please note: if there is no prompt word, clicking the Generate button will enter the prompt word page!)

⑥ The generated pictures will be displayed on the right side of the canvas, and users can select one of them. If no picture is selected, the first picture will be selected by default! (Note: Due to platform optimization and upgrade, your historical raw picture data containing 4-in-1 pictures that have not been taken will not be queried!)

Step 8: Image Editing

The ReadKidz platform supports basic image editing functions, and can directly design the layout of picture books!

① Click the picture. Click the green dot on the green border of the picture and press and hold to operate the position and size of the picture. Right-click the picture and perform corresponding operations according to the corresponding options!

② a. If you think the layout of the picture is not creative enough, you can use the cropping tool in the editor! The cropping tool contains different masks. You can select different shapes of cropping masks to adjust the shape of the illustration according to your needs to make your picture book more creative!

b. The cropping area can be rotated, and adjusting the rotation angle can change the cropping shape! (Please note: When the cropping is completed, please remember to click "confirm", otherwise the cropping will be invalid!)

c. After cropping, adjust the position of the cropped image to make the picture more harmonious!

If you think the cropped image is too monotonous, you can click the background color icon to set the background color!

③ Click the subtitle, click the green dot on the green border of the subtitle and long press to adjust the position and size of the subtitle. Right-click the subtitle and perform corresponding operations according to the corresponding options!

④ If you need to add a new canvas, you can click "+ Add pages" below the slide. The new canvas will only be added under the specified canvas, so be sure to pay attention!

On the newly added blank page, click the "Generate" icon to enter the AI ​​drawing page, write down the prompt words to generate the picture! Of course, you can also use the upload function in the toolbar below to upload pictures, click "Upload image" to upload the picture.

⑤ If you are not satisfied with a page of the picture book, you can click the three dots in the upper left corner of the canvas and click the delete icon to delete it!

⑥ Click the trash can icon in the navigation bar to view the deleted pages, and click "recovery" to restore the deleted pages! (Please note: the newly added blank pages cannot be restored after deletion!)

⑦ If you want to add new subtitles, you can click the text library in the toolbar below to add subtitles. The text library contains a variety of font effects, and you can choose according to your needs! (Please note: In order to make the entire picture book look more consistent, it is recommended to set the subtitles to a unified font effect!)

⑧ ReadKidz supports a rich material library, including stickers, bubble frames, etc. in various styles. Click the material library icon in the toolbar below to enter the material library and select materials that match the style of the picture book to make the picture more interesting!

⑨ After the layout design of the picture book is completed, you can dub each subtitle. Click the dubbing icon in the toolbar below to enter!

⑩ Click on "change all voice actors" in the upper right corner to enter the "voice library" to audition and select the dubbing roles!

Click "select voice" below the voice actor to select the voice actor to dub your subtitles.

⑪ You can click change voice actor without checking the subtitles to directly enter the dubbing role list, confirm the dubbing role, and then unify all subtitles to use this role!

⑫ You can also check the subtitles, enter the dubbing list, and dub the subtitles separately!

⑬ Newly added subtitles can also be dubbed, and the order of the subtitles can be dragged in the dubbing list to adjust the reading order of the subtitles on that page!

⑭ After the dubbing is completed, you can click on the background music library below and select appropriate background music according to the content of the picture book story. You can listen to it by pressing the play button and click "+" to add background music!

⑮ After adding background music, you can click the background wall library in the right toolbar and select a background picture that matches the style of the picture book, which can make the picture book preview more vivid and interesting!

⑯ If you need to convert the picture book into a video, you just need to click "Generate video" in the upper right corner. After creating the picture book according to the following two requirements, you can generate the video!
